I’m not sure what all the fuss is about, but this morning when I called mum to come and get me out of my cot she came in with the camera. I am not sure why, but now that I am used to the camera, I decided to pose a little for her anyway.
Of course, I had to demonstrate my latest skill – standing. Check it out… how cool am I?’ Ok, don’t look too closely at the morning hair, but apart from that check me out!
You wouldn’t believe it, but on Saturday as I was standing at my toy drawer trying to reach in for a new toy I decided to let go of both hands (just for a couple of seconds). Mum got all excited, so I had to hold on again ’cause she frightened me with her shouting and clapping. For some reason dad came running in from outside. I don’t know what all the fuss is about, I’ve done it heaps when they’re not watching!
Hi Ryan,
Parents are weird creatures, aren’t they? But don’t worry, they’re easy enough to train. BTW make sure you continue to look like you can’t walk too much, that way you can always get them to bring good stuff to you (rather than you having to go get it yourself). Always practice when they’re not looking.
Same goes for talking. Don’t say anything too clearly yet (except the four letter words mum uses when she’s angry, use these often & repeat them lots), you have to milk the next year for all it’s worth :-).
All the best
Uncle Mark.
